Original supplied artwork and animations remain in place. Game box art is supplied by the original catalog references and libretro-thumbnails where available. Game artwork and console trademarks belong to their respective owners. No game binaries, firmware or console keys are included.
The repaired artwork resolver uses exact catalogue titles and approved cover sources. Local images supplied by the site owner take precedence. Newly added external cover bytes are not bundled in the repair package. The separate owner tool can fetch and store available images and records each source and hash in artwork-report.json.
Additional cover sources: PSMT-Covers; PS3 title identifiers from PS3GameUpdateDownloader title metadata; Xbox title identifiers from Xenia Canary game-patches metadata; and explicit-title image metadata from MediaWiki PageImages. Only public metadata and images are used; no game updates, patches, firmware, game files or keys are fetched.
A title-artwork fallback can show a different retail edition of the same game. Source availability does not establish permission to republish an image. Game artwork remains the property of its respective rights holders. Missing images are reported rather than replaced with invented artwork.
